We have a pretty cool project coming up!
Payette Land Trust has been selected to be featured on CNBC’s Now We Know, hosted by Steve Guttenberg. A film crew will be in the McCall and Grangeville areas September 10 and 11, filming at several locations connected to PLT’s conservation work, including the Payette Riverwalk Alliance, Huffman Pasture and Uhlorn and Stuivenga Farms in Idaho County.
The story CNBC is coming to tell is about what happens when a community chooses to protect the places that make it special – and how conservation can help shape a community’s future as it grows.
We’re especially excited that the story will feature local landowners and community members. PLT helps make conservation projects possible, but it’s the landowners who make the big decisions about the future of their land. And it’s community members who show up, share their passion for this place and help move conservation forward. Those are the stories we’re most excited to share.
The segment is expected to air nationally in January or February 2027. We’ll share the air date as soon as it’s confirmed, and bring you along for some behind-the-scenes moments while the cameras are here.
Stay tuned!
