If you’re a small acreage owner –  or dreaming of becoming one – this spring is a great time to sharpen your land management skills. Payette Land Trust is excited to partner with University of Idaho Extension to host the 2026 May Pasture Management Clinic.

The clinic offers two ways to participate. A free online Zoom session on May 6 (5:30 – 7:45 pm) covers timely topics including grasshoppers and Mormon crickets and spring pasture principles. It also counts for one ISDA pesticide recertification credit. Register at https://bit.ly/PastureclinicZoom.

For those who want a full field day experience, in-person sessions are scheduled for May 8 in McCall and Cascade, and May 9 in Caldwell. You’ll get practical, on-the-ground instruction in irrigation setup, soil health assessment, and fence building and paddock design.

Early bird registration closes April 29, and all registration closes May 6. Sign up at https://bit.ly/PastureClinic26.
